Private Beach
Step out the back door of the Beach House onto the sands of Nantucket Sound, the body of water between Cape Cod and Nantucket Island. Because these waters are sheltered, the waves are medium in size and gently lap the shores. The beach is sandy and gradually drops to deeper waters. It's a perfect area for swimming and wading or just soaking up the sun on a beach blanket. Walkers will find the miles of beach stretching in both directions a scenic workout.- Garden Pool
Completely enclosed by beautiful gardens and native trees, the pool at the Winstead Inn is refreshingly private. Enjoy its heated waters all through the day and night until 10 pm. Enjoy a cool beverage under an umbrella at our pool side tables. Beach towels, deck chairs and recliners are provided for your comfort. -

The swimming pool is open from Memorial Day Weekend to Columbus Day Weekend. The water temperature is a comfortable 86 degrees.
