About Us

We are two distinct properties separated by 1.5 miles. Regardless which property you are checked into, you have full use of both properties. Breakfast (8:00am-10:30am) is served at the Beach Resort, but is complimentary for all guests. We do have free off-street parking for all guests, but must limit one space per room at the Beach Resort, with additional cars to be parked at the Winstead Inn. Lounge chairs, umbrellas, and towels are supplied at both properties.

The Winstead Inn is situated in the village of Harwich in a residential area one block from the center and 100 yards to the Cape Cod Rail Trail (bicycling, jogging, and walking). The property consists of two buildings: the main building (The Inn has six rooms and suites) and the Chandlery consisting of two units (Port and Starboard). The heated salt pool and gardens are located at this property and are available to all guests. The pool(A Beautiful 85 degrees) opens for the 2013 season May 25 through September 14.

The Beach Resort with its commanding views is situated beach front on a private(guest only) stretch of Nantucket Sound (boasting the warmest of Cape Cod waters) and is only a short stroll to Harwich Port center for shopping and various dining experiences. At this location you can truly park your car till it is time to leave. The ferry to Nantucket, as well as fishing and seal boats, are less than a half mile.

Several golf courses,tennis and other amusements such as miniature golf, go carts, and bumper boats are in the local area. The National Seashore is a short drive and Provincetown (whale watch excursions) is only a 50 minute drive. Enjoy both and have a full Cape Cod experience. Our concierge gladly reserves excursions and dinner reservations.
