Reservation Policy

RESERVATION DEPOSIT

The Winstead Inn and Beach House charges your credit card (Master Card,Visa & Discover) 50%(four nights or more) of the room rate at reservation time. For reservations of 3 or less nights we take payment in full. All reservations inside 30 days require payment in full. Final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival. Rates do not include State or local occupancy tax, or gratuities. The advance deposit guarantees to both the guest and the management the entire period reserved. When making a reservation, you are making a commitment to us, as we are to you. All forms of deposits will be processed at the time we receive them. We understand that emergencies happen and changes must be made; that is why we suggest trip insurance.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations for any reason within 30 days of arrival require payment in full; this also applies to an early departure of reserved dates. Once we reach full occupancy status we will do all we can to re-book your reserved accommodations to generate the greatest return, less 10% of the gross sale, (not including taxes), with a minimum of $25. Cancellations received prior to 30 days of arrival will be charged a cancellation fee of 10% of the gross reservation(not including taxes), and may be applied to a future off-season stay for a period of up to one year from cancellation. This policy is necessary as we are a small, personalized inn with limited accommodations. We often must turn away other guests due to your confirmed dates. Walk-in traffic is minimal due to our unique location thus, last minute changes afford us less opportunity to re-rent your reserved accommodation.

Guest Policy

We are a small independent, smoke free, owner-managed property. All questions and concerns can be directed and resolved on site. We are accepting of all persons (The Winstead Inn is handicapped accessible) and of all ages, but reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Sorry, we cannot accept pets of any kind due to concerns for guests fears and allergies. We gladly work with guests special requests, but prefer advance notice to better serve you and so that in the event that we are unable to meet your request, it is known before arrival. To keep our relaxed atmosphere we must limit the property use to registered guests only. During our high season we must strictly enforce our check-in and check-out times due to parking and service limitations. Our ultimate goal is to give all of our guests the ultimate Cape Cod experience. To enhance the stay for all of our guests we are available 24 hours a day to meet that goal.
